The practicing physician involved in guiding the IntraTherapies AlphaProgram research initiative that led to the development of the neuroceutical dietary supplement Nurenex is - Dr. Nathan Newman, a highly regarded medical physician, research scientist, dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon with a general medical practice in Beverly Hills, California. who is widely published in prestigious journals, and has been featured on television and radio.

Dr. Newman practices integrative medicine and has specialized in health issues relating to lifestyle enhancement and age management, taking a comprehensive approach to health care. For the past six years, he has been particularly focused on researching the science of neuro-regulating compounds, or in lay terms “brain foods” such as the ingredients in Nurenex.

Dr. Nathan Newman is currently a private practice physician in Beverly Hills, Calif. specializing in dermatology and dermatological surgery.

Dr. Newman has published extensively. In 1989 he conducted two clinical researches on UVA with Nicholas J. Lowe, M.D., Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA – “Substantivity of UVA Sunscreens” and “Current Methods for Testing Chemicals for UVA Efficacy (parasol 1789).”

Dr. Newman has also given several presentations. In 1999, “Erythemia Elevatum Diutinim in HIV-Positive Woman”, American Academy Dermatology Annual Meeting, Gross and Microscopic Symposium; and in 1992, Clinical Improvement of Photoaged Skin With 50% Glycolic Acid: A double blind, vehicle-controlled study presented to the American Society of Dermatoligic Surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dr. Newman pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, 1990-1996, while attending medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He then served his Internship in Internal Medicine at UCLA-Wadsworth VA Center in Los Angeles, Calif.; followed by his residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He then received a fellowship in cosmetic surgery in July 2000.
